: Working with people

• It is positive that we who work together are different, but it can also present some challenges, for example with communication and collaboration.
• In our workplace, we have employees from different places and cultures, which can lead to misunderstandings related to management, language and cultural differences.
• Even though we have a tough day, we have to be cheerful and patient when meeting customers.
• Demanding situations can arise with customers, for example if they are dissatisfied with the price or the job we have done, and we are unsure how to handle it.
• Customers pay attention and make great demands on us and the work we do. Sometimes we get criticism.
• It happens that we experience cooperation problems, a bad atmosphere and unpleasant conflicts among those of us who work here.
• At times, some people are treated badly by others, such as spoken to, teased, or ridiculed.
• From time to time, we have a tone between us that some may probably find offensive and rude.
• It can be difficult to speak up if we experience something that is not okay.
• We have pictures on the walls that can be perceived as offensive and insulting to some.
• We have commission-based salary and bonus schemes. This can lead to a poor working environment, because there is unhealthy competition and conflicts between colleagues.
